NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two people are dead as the result of a two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in South Nashville.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the crash occurred at 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of Trousdale Drive and Briarwood Drive and involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck.

Police said a preliminary investigation indicated that 22-year-old Nicholas Moralas Gomez, who was riding a BMW motorcycle, was traveling north on Trousdale Drive. He entered the intersection and hit the driver's door of a 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
