HOUSTON — Two Chevrolet pickup trucks led the list of most stolen vehicles in Texas during October, according to data released by the Texas Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority .
The Chevy Silverado claimed the top spot, followed by the GMC Sierra in second place. The Hyundai Elantra rounded out the top three most stolen vehicles for the month.
Ford trucks also featured prominently on the list, with the F150 ranking fourth and the F250 taking fifth place. The remaining positions were filled by the Hyundai Sonata (6th), Kia Optima (7th), Dodge 1500 (8th), Dodge Challenger (9th), and Chevy Tahoe (10th).
The rankings showed little change from September's data, with only a few vehicles swapping positions on the list, according to the authority's social media post.
