BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - If you’re looking for a way to help your fellow Mainers while also paying less for a meal, you’re in luck.

During the month of October, Harvest Moon Deli partnered with University Credit Union and Downeast Credit Union, for their Campaign For Ending Hunger.

“10% of the sales from the ‘Pork Side of the Moon’ sandwich went towards our ending hunger in Maine cause. In the month of October, Maine credit unions pledged to raise at least $100,000 to help end the hunger in Maine. So we are just proud to be part of that,” said Kristie Libby, Marketing Director for Downeast Credit Union.

“We know the need is great right now and we want to be there and get those funds distributed to local pantries in our areas and help those that we serve,” said Abbey Ramsay, Vice President
