**Tragedy Strikes as UPS Plane Crash Leaves Families in Despair** A devastating plane crash in Kentucky has left a mother of two among the missing. Angela 'Angie' Anderson, 45, from Louisville, is feared dead following the crash of UPS Flight 2976 on Tuesday evening. The incident has claimed the lives of 12 individuals, with Anderson being one of nine people still unaccounted for. The crash occurred shortly after 5pm while Anderson was at Grade A Auto Parts & Scrap Metal Recycling, disposing of scrap metal. Eyewitnesses reported that the plane erupted into flames, engulfing the surrounding area. Since the incident, there has been no sign of Anderson, raising concerns among her loved ones. Her boyfriend, Donald Henderson, 55, had intended to accompany her but opted to stay home due to fatigue from work. He expressed his regret, stating, "We've been meaning to do it, but [I've] been working every day. I told her I'd take her and it was 4:30[pm]. I was like: 'It's too late by the time we get over there.'" William Moreland, 64, who shares two children with Anderson, is also searching for answers. He remarked, "[We] come [sic] over here and see what's going on. I know we ain't the only ones." At least 16 families have reported loved ones missing, highlighting the widespread impact of this tragedy. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation into the crash. Todd Inman, a member of the NTSB, stated that a significant fire developed in the left wing after the plane was cleared for takeoff. He noted, "The NTSB is trying to determine what caused the fire and why the engine had fallen off. It will likely take investigators more than one year to answer those questions." Initial findings suggest that the aircraft managed to gain sufficient altitude to clear the fence at the end of the runway before crashing just outside Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. This airport is a major hub, handling nearly five million passengers and over 6.95 billion pounds (3.48 million tons) of cargo annually. As the investigation continues, families are left in anguish, hoping for news of their loved ones.
