LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — A Leesville-area man has been charged after an investigation uncovered dozens of guns, thousands of dollars in cash and pounds of cocaine.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department said 62-year-old Vincent Davis was charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of a weapon during a violent crime following an investigation that stemmed from another case.

Sheriff Jay Koon said the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) was investigating another case when they discovered information tying Davis's home to a "large amount of cocaine."

A search warrant eventually led investigators to 24 guns, $15,000 in cash and more than four pounds of cocaine at the home, along with two vehicles that were also seized.
