LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A man’s death in Sept. was deemed to be caused by a crash that had occurred weeks before, police said Thursday.
According to a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department release, the crash occurred just before 6:45 a.m. on Aug. 19 at the intersection of Lake Mead and Jones boulevards.
Police said a pickup ran a red light and struck an SUV. Both drivers were taken to an area hospital. Police said the department’s fatal detail was not notified at that time, as the extent of the drivers’ injuries did not call for it.
