BOISE, Idaho — With Election Day just days in the rearview, another deadline is approaching for residents who have placed political campaign signs on public property.

The Ada County Highway District announced that candidates and residents who placed political campaign signs in the public right-of-way must remove them within 48 hours following Election Day. The deadline is set for the end of the day on Thursday, Nov. 6.

The highway district said each campaign must remove its own signs. If they do not, the signs will be collected and taken to the Ada County Highway District Headquarters. Officials say a fee may be applied for their removal.
