GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) — Two Gainesville Police Department captains were disciplined for planning security for an Easter event at T.B. McPherson Park that ended in a deadly shooting , according to documents obtained by TV20.
Three people were shot, and one person, Ontaria Baisden, 20, was killed during the event.

An internal investigation report says Captains Summer Hallett and Victoria Young were in charge of planning police presence at the event.
Investigators wrote that both Hallett and Young should have known the event was going to exceed the permit request of 400 people and pose security risks.
