OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - A federal judge has ordered the trump administration to fully fund SNAP benefits in November, despite the shutdown.

The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry is one of several area sites helping thousands who have lost SNAP benefits.

The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry is 99% volunteer run, working with local farmers and raising funds when federal ones run dry. They say they see about 260 guests a day and their need is increasing all the time.

For Charlotte Fletcher, this food pantry has been a welcoming environment without shame. While once, just a patron she now volunteers here as well.

“I only have 4 kids, but everything helps because this place helps me fill in the gaps that I can’t fill at home when food is scarce,” said Fletcher.
