ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Celebrations were underway at Comedy at the Carlson, as they held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new event space, "The Carlson". The new space will enhance the club's environment and host events featuring national-level comedians.

It will accommodate up to 200 people, with the goal of boosting tourism in the city through comedy shows, meetings, fundraisers, and other events.

Mark Ippolito, founder of Comedy at the Carlson, said, " The Carlson can host up to 200 people and was designed to be an open palette for types of events.
