On the 12th day of April, 1972, Deverea Danielle was born in Camp Kue Hospital on the island of Okinawa. Very proud and excited parents were Robert and Judy Northcutt. Soon after Deverea’s birth, her dad was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas for his Ending Time in Service. After his discharge, the family moved to San Angelo. They made their home there until 2002.

Deverea spent her school years in the San Angelo school system. She was graduated from Lake View High School class of 1990. When her parents made the move to Brownwood, Deverea decided she and her 5 boys would also. She was quoted as saying that “She might could do without a village for the boys but she couldn’t do without her parents.” She has made her home in Brownwood since.
