LIMA, Ohio —

A man has been arrested in Ohio after he allegedly abducted a teenager in North Carolina, leading to an Amber Alert.

Last weekend, an Amber Alert was issued for a 15-year-old child who was last seen in Bakersville, North Carolina. Advertisement

On Monday, the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office said that the missing child had been found safe in Ohio.

The next day, 32-year-old Christopher Biederman of Lima, Ohio, was charged with abduction of a child.

According to WYFF , Biederman is being held in the Allen County Detention Center in Ohio. Officials are holding him on a fugitive warrant in North Carolina and a felony warrant for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor from the Lima Police Department.
