COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified a woman killed in a crash on October 18 as 31-year-old Linda Michelle Regul.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said officers received a report of a crash involving two vehicles at the intersection of East Fountain Boulevard and Academy Park Loop around 2:17 a.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, CSPD said they found that Regul, a passenger in an SUV, had passed away.

Two occupants in another vehicle that had rolled over were taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.

On October 18, officers said they suspected speed and alcohol to be factors in the crash. They did not say if any arrests had been made.

Police say this is the 47th traffic-related death in Colorado Springs of 2025
