NIMISHILLEN TWP. − A 25-year-old Alliance man was seriously hurt in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 62 near Beech Street NE the evening of Nov. 6, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
David A. Foster suffered incapacitating injuries, the Patrol said. A township ambulance transported Foster to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. A helicopter later took him to Akron General Hospital.
The Patrol said Foster was driving northeast in the left lane of U.S. 62 in a 2015 Hyundai Sonata shortly before 5:55 p.m. Troopers' initial investigation found that a motorist driving a 2020 Ford F-350 truck northwest on Beech Street, failed to yield at a stop sign at U.S. 62 and pulled in front of Foster.
The Hyundai Sonata collided with the Ford truck on its driver's side door. Foster was not wearing a seat
