LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Rob Sanders said he'd imagined "a thousand times" what he would do if a plane crashed near his workplace and home adjacent to Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.

But when a UPS cargo jet crashed near Grade A Recycling on Tuesday, killing at least 13 people , reality proved more devastating than any scenario he'd envisioned.

"You think a thousand times what would happen if a plane was to actually crash here being so close to the airport," Sanders said. "You don't think it'll actually really happen. But when it does, it's surreal. It's hard to deal with."
