GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -- A man was hospitalized in a crash on Highway 262 SE in Grant County Thursday morning.

According to Washington State Patrol, the 55-year-old man from Royal City was driving a piece of farm equipment eastbound on the highway just before 9 a.m.

A truck heading in the same direction struck the farm equipment from behind, causing it to roll on its side.

The farm equipment driver was life flighted to a local hospital.

The truck driver, 55-year-old Michael J. Richards from Othello, was charged with negligent driving in the second degree.
