INDIANAPOLIS — If your upcoming flight gets canceled — you have options.
Starting Friday, Nov. 7, Indianapolis International Airport will be among roughly 40 U.S. airports that could see reduced flight schedules as a result of the ongoing government shutdown.
While that’s inconvenient for travelers, the good news is that airlines are being flexible.
For the most part, major carriers are allowing all customers to temporarily cancel or reschedule flights without penalties or change fees.
That means you don’t need to have a canceled flight to take advantage of the flexible options — you can simply change your mind about your trip.
