DOUGLAS COUNTY — The annual Veterans Day program, sponsored by Alexandria VFW Post 936, is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11 at the Reach Church, 1310 North Nokomis Street NE, Alexandria.

The VFW Post 936 Auxiliary will have donuts and coffee at the church starting at 10 a.m. with the program to follow at 11 a.m.

This year’s program is “Veterans Day – The Cost of Freedom.” It is a video that was produced by Steve Pederson of Alexandria.

There will be a lunch after the program served at the Alexandria VFW Post 936, 1102 3rd Avenue E., Alexandria. The lunch is sponsored by Mid MN Federal Credit Union in Alexandria.

In addition, all veterans are invited to a Veterans Day Program at St. Mary's School. The program will take place at 2 p.m. in the gymnasium. There will be refreshments serv
