COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified a man killed in a crash on October 26 as 21-year-old Richard Bayne Jr.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said officers responded to the area of Dublin Boulevard and Cloud Dancer Drive in northeast Colorado Springs around 8:45 p.m. for a car crash.

Police said a vehicle had had lost control, driven off the road and struck a tree in the center median. According to police, a second vehicle had been sideswiped by the first vehicle before it left the road.

CSPD said Bayne, the driver of the first vehicle, had passed away by the time officers arrived to the scene.

No one was injured in the second vehicle.
