QUINCY (WGEM) - Pickleball fever is about to go year-round in Quincy.
Crews have been busy and are resurfacing the floor in preparation for painting at the new Quincy Paddle Up Pickleball Club .
“We are finishing the court surfacing preparations in order for the courts to be painted with the pickleball paint, so one last little sweep and clean up on these and we’re going to get court surfacing down this week, so we’ll be all color on here by the beginning of next week,” said Jon Richert, the owner of the Quincy Paddle Up Pickleball Club.
There will be 11 courts for players to dink and hit aces on.
The facility on North Marx Drive in Quincy should be completed in the next couple of weeks with the target completion date of Nov. 21.
