HOLLAND, Ind. (WEHT) - A normally quiet area of Dubois County is now the site of pre-construction work on the Crossvine Solar Project, a mixed battery/solar facility situated between Holland and Huntingburg. The project, operated by AES Indiana, has drawn concern from residents and elected officials, including Holland Town Council member John Kaltenbacher.

"Nobody knows about it. I didn't find out about a lot of this until Sunday," says Kaltenbacher. The Holland Town Council held a meeting on November 5 to inform residents, and others in Dubois County presented signatures to county commissioners, asking for a moratorium on the prpoject in hopes of implementing ordinances on future projects.
