If you haven’t enjoyed an evening with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra (HSO), now is a good time to do so.
As Executive Director of the HSO, before each concert, I walk through the Forum Auditorium, talking to people who come to hear our concerts, and sometimes just listen to what they have to say.
Some are excited about the pre-concert talk they just heard, presented by a guest composer or musical scholar. Others look forward to hearing a piece they have loved since childhood. Still others marvel at the Forum itself, with its spectacular map of the stars overhead. It’s been the HSO’s home since 1931.
There is something magical about being part of a group of people sharing a unique experience, and an HSO concert is exactly that. That’s why we have such a loyal audie
