SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) is celebrating National First-Generation College Student Day on Saturday by hosting an event to support its first-generation students.

The event, titled 'First..But Not Alone,' features a storytelling panel and interactive activities aimed at uplifting and supporting students who are the first in their families to attend college.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to recognize the challenges and triumphs of first-generation students at STCC.
