KELFORD, N.C. (WITN) - A Roxobel man is behind bars on drug and gun charges after deputies followed up on a Kelford shooting that occurred on Tuesday.
Bertie County deputies searched Tywan Johnson’s home in Roxobel and say they seized drugs and a gun.
The 29-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than 1.5 ounces, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Johnson was taken to the Bertie-Martin jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
He is scheduled to appear in court on the morning of November 26th.
