LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - It has been a devastating couple of days for the staff at Stooges Bar & Grill, a restaurant located near the site of the UPS plane crash.

Kyla Kenady, a bartender at Stooges, was working when the plane crashed. She told WAVE News she would be “scarred for life” following the tragedy.

“All I saw was a plane in the sky in flames,” she remembered. “The only way I could react was to run down the bar and scream that a plane was crashing to everyone. At that moment, I had enough time to grab my purse and my phone, run out the door and everyone was already scrambling in panic.”

Since then, the business has been shut down due to contamination from the crash. Debbie Self, who owns Stooges, was able to go in for a second to grab payroll checks. She said she couldn’t belie
