MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is assuring families that the district will continue providing meals to students while SNAP is delayed.

They provide meals through the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Students who currently receive free or reduced-price meals will continue to get them.

The district is still reviewing applications for meal benefits, and they encourage you to apply if your family's income has changed. Applications can be submitted any time using your household circumstances at the moment you apply.

Once a student is approved for the free or reduced-price meals, they are eligible for at least the entire school year, even if household circumstances change.
