All is quiet across the region this evening as we wait for the arrival of our next system. Skies are partly clear overnight, and temperatures are dipping back to the 20s and lower 30s by daybreak.

Any breaks in the clouds will fill in Friday morning, as our next system approaches from the west. Showers roll in for the Champlain Valley an hour or two ahead of sunset, or mid afternoon and continue to fall, scattered in nature through early Saturday morning.

Other than a few sprinkles or spot showers after sunrise Saturday morning, we're drying up for the rest of the day, but likely holding on to the cloud cover with temperatures in the lower 50s.

Have a great night!
