Volunteers deliver 40,000 pounds of food to King County, WA families amid shutdown

As the government shutdown strains food assistance programs, volunteers in Bellevue distributed 40,000 pounds of donated goods from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The effort, supported by people of many faiths, will supply more than 20 King County food banks with essential items.
