Just days before Veterans Day, retired Navy SEAL West Baldwin, now fighting cancer tied to burn-pit exposure, was handed a gift that gave him hope, a new Subaru.

Baldwin, carrying the weight of service and illness, a new car meant so much. The Military Warriors Support Foundation provides this gift through its Transportation 4 Heroes program.

The Military Warriors Support Foundation, backed by partners including JPMorgan Chase, has given away more than 200 cars and nearly 1,000 homes to wounded veterans and Gold Star families.
