STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A Starkville man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a deadly 2021 shooting.
24-year-old Benjamin Brownlee Jr. was convicted and sentenced in Oktibbeha County Circuit Court for the shooting at Sandhill Arms apartments that killed Zavier Armstead and seriously injured another person.
Brownlee received life without parole for murder and 40 years for attempted murder.
The sentences will run consecutively.
