The Russian Embassy in Pakistan has launched a scathing attack on The Frontier Post, a Pakistan-based English-language daily, accusing it of publishing a "series of anti-Russian articles" and spreading "Western propaganda" against Moscow.

In a strongly worded statement posted on X, the embassy said the publication’s stance had taken an overtly anti-Russian tone.

The embassy questioned the newspaper’s Pakistani identity that deliberately selected articles "from ardent Russophobes".
