LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - A LaPorte man is accused of killing two pet dogs with archery arrows while he was deer hunting.
58-year-old John Lowe is charged with two felony counts of animal cruelty along with felony obstruction of justice. His son, 22-year-old Hayden Lowe, is also charged with felony obstruction of justice.

According to our reporting partners at the South Bend Tribune , court paperwork states the two men were hunting on Oct. 21 on a private property when another hunter in the same woods heard two dogs, a beagle and a chocolate Labrador retriever, making noise as they were moving through the woods.
