In the Capital Region, Market 32/Price Chopper cut prices on 30 grocery items to help people afford food during the SNAP benefit crisis. Prices were cut on specially designated items such as eggs, pasta, pasta sauce, avocados and grapes, while the chain offered buy-one-get-one sales on items such as English muffins, shrimp, chicken breast and cereals. The pricing is in effect for all shoppers through Saturday.
