Many of the results of Nov. 4 special Chandler elections were apparent about 36 hours after polls closed.

The $475 million bond questions and two charter amendments the city of Chandler had on the ballot all seemed well on their way to passing, with none of those six items even within 25 percentage points of the “no” votes.

Even a $23.5 million bond for the fire agency that serves the Sun Lakes area was passing by a 25-point margin, as of mid-afternoon on Nov. 6.

The Chandler Unified School District’s seven-year override spending authority seemed well on its way to passing on Nov. 6, though its $271.5 million bond was passing by only slightly more than 400 votes.
