MILTON, Fla. (WKRG) — With Veterans Day slowly approaching, Milton residents can expect closures in the area and events taking place.
According to a Milton news release, all city offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Along with those offices closed, Tuesday's sanitation pick-up will now take place on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
The Santa Rosa County Veterans Memorial Foundation has scheduled a parade and ceremony to honor veterans that day.
The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Milton High School's north parking lot and will go down Stewart Street, Berryhill Street, and Willing Street, ending at Jernigan's Landing, according to the release.
Those streets will be closed temporarily, and drivers are asked to use other routes.
