Thursday evening will be a calm and clear one. The winds, after being on the gusty side the previous day, will become calm and variable into the overnight with high pressure moving overhead. For those with evening plans, a light jacket will help as temps drop to the low 40s and upper 30s.
Friday starts on a dry note with sunshine in the morning. Our attention will turn to an arriving low-pressure system for the second half of the day as a warm front lifts during the afternoon. This will bring in more cloud cover, gusty winds pushing 20-30 mph, and the chances for a few hit or miss storms late in the afternoon. Expect a warm day as temps rise into the middle 60s.
