Funding continues for housing vouchers, public housing in Frederick despite shutdown

Local officials don't expect the federal government shutdown to affect housing vouchers or public housing in the near future.

Angie Lollar, executive director of the Housing Authority of the City of Frederick, said that officials with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development have indicated that funds will continue to flow for housing programs through the end of the year.
