De La Soul will release Cabin in the Sky , their first studio album in nine years, on Nov. 21. The new record is also their first since the 2023 death of founding member David “Trugoy the Dove” Jolicoeur, one-third of the New York hip-hop institution.
Their 10th LP will follow 2016’s And the Anonymous Nobody , which earned a Grammy nod for Best Rap Album. The new musical offering includes production by DJ Premier, Super Dave, Pete Rock and features Killer Mike, Yukimi from Little Dragon, Common, Nas and Black Thought. The LP’s first single, “The Package,” is out today.
