(WTAJ) -- The federal government shutdown extended into Day 36 Wednesday, making it the longest government shutdown in national history, and many federal employees are feeling the pinch.

TSA agents, social security employees, staff at Federal Correctional Institution Loretto and staff at national parks in Central Pennsylvania are all going without pay along with the millions of federal employees nationally that have not received a paycheck in over a month due to the shutdown.

"This is not a one party system here," said Philip Glover, National Vice President for the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) District 3, the union representing federal workers in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
