HONOLULU (Island News) -- Honolulu police shut down illegal game rooms in Waialua and Pearl City this week leading to four arrests.
The first gambling bust took place at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at a one-story house on Wanini Street. Honolulu Police Department (HPD) officers from the Narcotics Vice Division executed a search warrant in which 14 gambling machines and over $4,000 in cash were seized.
As a result of the game room raid, a 27-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree promoting gambling and possession of a gambling device. A 40-year-old and a 49-year-old man were arrested for separate warrants.
The following day, HPD officers raided two illegal gambling rooms on Kamehameha Highway in Pearl City at about 6 p.m. on Nov. 5. During this search, they found 34 gambling machin
