Police have called on members of the public for information as they continue to investigate a horror house fire that claimed the lives of four people, including a teenager and two infants.
Emergency services were called to Opal St in Emerald, about 270km west of Rockhampton , at 6.48am on Thursday.
Police said a property was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival and the bodies of four people were found inside.
Two other people escaped the fire and were outside the home as neighbours attempted to contain the flames with garden hoses.
