ATLANTA — Chances are that you’ve probably booked a car ride through a service like Uber or Lyft before. But have you booked a private jet the same way? A new Georgia-based tech startup is betting you will.

AirNEX is a new aviation tech company that connects customers with nearby private flights through a ride-hailing app. The startup kicked off the early stages of its $750,000 seed round this week and plans to roll out its services to customers in Georgia and Florida at the beginning of 2026.

The company was founded in March 2024 by CEO Taylor McReynolds, an airport operations coordinator at TBI Airport Management, an Atlanta-based company focused on managing development, operations and investments for domestic and international airports.
