The Harker Heights High School custodian who has pleaded guilty to illegal reentry into the U.S. will remain in custody until her sentencing hearing, which is set for next year.

Ofelia Negrete-Arriaga, 57, who worked as a custodian at the Killeen Independent School District for about 19 years, entered a guilty plea on Oct. 28, in the courtroom of U.S. Magistrate Judge Derek T. Gilliland. At that hearing, Gilliland ordered that she remain in custody until sentencing.

Negrete-Arriaga was arrested by federal agents on Oct. 3. She was listed among the people who were being held in the McLennan County Jail, according to jail records on Wednesday.
