MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The University of South Alabama Men's Basketball team faced Alcorn State in their first home game of the season, according to a USA news release.

The Jags faced the Bravehawks on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Center. The Jags came out on top, with a final score of 76-70.

On Monday, the Jags opened their season with a win against Toledo on the road in the MAC-SBC Challenge.

Top scorers from that matchup include Adam Olsen with 23 points, Peyton Law with 18 points, and Chaze Harris with 10 points.

Alcorn State Head Coach Jake Morton is entering his first season with the team as the program's 15th head coach. In their season opener against Florida State, the Bravehawks lost, 108-76.
