SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) - It's open enrollment season for the Affordable Care Act Marketplace insurances, but there's worry about premiums going up due to certain tax credits not being extended. In this Your Money Matters we take a look at what you should know when enrolling and how you can get some help through the process.
When it comes to health care, having coverage is important and the federal Health Insurance Marketplace can help a variety of people who aren't able to get covered by an employer. Take, for example, Brooklyn McClain who is currently studying at SDSU.
"My first time going on the Marketplace insurance was in September, like two months ago. That's when like everything started because I was still on my mom's up until the end of May of this year," McClain said.
