EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- The EVSC Foundation held its 2025 hall of fame celebration tonight, honoring local leaders and alumni.
Five people were honored for their contributions to public education and the Evansville community. Former major league baseball pitcher and Central High School alum Aaron Barrett delivered a keynote address. This year's inductees include Sally Becker, Doctor Steven Becker Richard, Rita Eykamp, Mayor Stephanie Terry, and Terry Yunker.
“Just a, just a message of gratitude, a huge thank you for their years of dedication and loyalty to the community, loyalty to the school corporation, the time that they've dedicated and sacrificed for a lot of the students that have gone through the EVSC to have an impact on their children's lives,” Scott Evernham said.
