Kitchener GO Transit users will have to find another mode of transportation this weekend.

On Saturday, until the end of service Sunday, GO trains will not run on the Kitchener line to accommodate track work to bring more service across the network.

In its place, GO buses will run between Mount Pleasant, Brampton Innovation District and Brampton GO stations to take customers to the Highway 407 bus terminal, where connections can be made to TTC Line 1 and Union Station.

There will be no GO Transit services at Bloor and Weston GO stations, but regular scheduled GO bus routes will continue to service the Malton GO station.

There will also be some late-night service adjustments on Friday, as the last northbound train at 11:34 p.m. from Union Station to Mount Pleasant GO will not run.
