The Kitchener Rangers have been patient.
The Ontario Hockey League club has been without three key players for the entire season in forwards Luke Ellinas and Andrew Vermeulen and defenceman Carson Campbell.
On Friday, they got them back.
For the first time this season, the club caught a glimpse of what could be when most of its regulars are healthy.
And it was frightening, in a good way.
The ice seemed tilted at the Aud as the veterans made their season debut in the Blueshirts’ 5-2 win against the visiting Saginaw Spirit.
The trio all had off-season surgery for various injuries and spent the last six months or so resting, rehabbing and getting into game shape.
