Laurier receiver Ethan Jordan has been named the Ontario University Athletics’s most valuable football player — the third straight year a Golden Hawk has captured the award.
Former Laurier quarterback Taylor Elgersma, a two-time winner (2023, 2024), was on hand in Burlington to present the top award to Jordan.
Earlier, Laurier head coach Michael Faulds won the David “Tuffy” Knight Award as coach of the year for the third time. Linebacker Jessie Wilkins won the President’s Trophy as the OUA’s outstanding standup defensive player.
“Such a special moment, especially to have my teammates in the building,” said Jordan. “Michael Faulds was here, my family was here, so extremely grateful.”
