Snowfall in the mountains has brought cold waves to the plains. In Rajasthan, the minimum temperature fell below 10°C in three cities on Thursday. Fatehpur recorded the lowest at 7.5°C, while Nagaur saw 9.4°C and Lunkaransar near Bikaner recorded 8.9°C.
In Madhya Pradesh, the average temperature dropped to 6.1°C on Thursday night. Rajgarh recorded the lowest at 11°C, Indore at 12.1°C, and Bhopal at 13°C.
Delhi experienced its coldest night of the season on Thursday, with the minimum temperature dropping to 12.7°C. This is the first time this winter that the temperature has fallen below 15°C. Previously, the lowest temperature this year was 15.8°C on 26 October.
